The fall season kind of snuck up on me this year. Trying to plan a wedding in the middle of the holiday season has not left much room for actual holiday planning. But I’ve been seriously missing that holiday feeling this year so I wanted to come up with an easy craft that could take my mind off wedding stuff and decorate for fall.
I’m sure if you’re inept at crafting you’ve seen the yarn pompom craze that’s been sweeping the internet. But my favorites, are the yarn balls before they become the pompom poof.
First, I made garland inspired by this post, just something simple and cute for me.

I’m not a professional party planner by any means but one thing I sure love is throwing a good “themed” party. Birthdays, showers, and holiday parties are my favorite. About a year ago I made the conscious decision to only buy cruelty-free makeup. I’ve mentioned it in other posts before, but I’ve never talked about why.
I have been a vegetarian for about 9 years so I’ve been pretty aware of animal cruelty for a while now. What really changed it for me though was my dog.

I’ve been looking for a way to help calm my 2-year-old son when his temper gets the best of him. I am so excited to review this month’s Ipsy bag! I was almost afraid something happened to my bag because I got it so late this month. But I think with all the hurricane commotion here in Florida, it might have been pushed back a little. I don’t know, but I’m happy I finally got it!
If you don’t know what Ipsy is you are seriously missing out! It’s a $10 monthly subscription service where you receive 5 makeup products in a cute makeup bag. The products range from drugstore brands to high-end brands. They are also a decent mix of sample size and full-size products. It’s such a good deal and a great way to try out different products.

Do you ever see something at the store and think “I can make that”? I literally do that all the time and everyone always rolls their eyes because… can I really make that? Well over the weekend mom and I saw a really cute Christmas ornament and I said my signature catchphrase.
When I started explaining how we could actually make the ornament, I realized I’ve made something very similar before.I was instantly brought back to my days in the National Art Honor Society in High School. Back then we were making locker magnets and selling them to classmates, trying to raise money for art supplies.
Now it’s a fun little project for a rainy day. Make adorable emoji magnets or funky letters to arrange on the fridge.
I’m always in search of a yummy treat that I can serve my toddler, he’ll taste it, and he’ll actually want a second bite of it. This raspberry orange roll is adapted from a cranberry orange recipe I came across while on the hunt for something new. This Raspberry Orange Bites recipe came about mostly because I didn’t have cranberries on hand so the Raspberry Orange Bite was born.
