Every year around this time we’re all starting on our holiday gift list. We’re trying to find that gift that means something to someone; we want to make sure it’s something they’ll like and that it’s special. A great way to make sure you find something special for everyone is to shop with a company that offers the policy of “buy one, give one.” Many companies have this great way of giving back when you purchase a gift; they give the same or equal value back to a community in need.

The holidays are a time when many of us honor our most heartfelt traditions. Those traditions usually revolve around our families, our spirituality, and our religion. Sometimes our traditions are deeply intimate. Sometimes they are light and fun. Whatever they are, our traditions are meant to bring us joy and satisfaction.
Fall can be a confusing time for a Floridian. While the rest of the country is wrapped up in their scarves and boots we’re still rocking tank tops and flip-flops. We’re lucky if the temperature drops below 85 before December. And if it does, we immediately bust out those boots, scarves, or beanies like its 40 degrees out. (But we’re sweating by 2pm because the sun came out and it’s back up to 85 – probably). It’s a weird time for us.
BUT that doesn’t mean we don’t trick ourselves into thinking it’s fall with a couple of other things – like pumpkin spice everything, apple cider, and pumpkin patches.
And I still like to enjoy all the fall styles! Dark colored clothes; berry and gold tones, and yes, boots with dresses.

In my house, everything has a place to belong. From my neatly arranged and alphabetized spice cabinet to my color and season coordinated wardrobe closet. Organization is the key to my happiness…and sanity.
