Homemade Ginger Tea
It may be early spring, but it’s always a good time for a cup of hot (or cold) tea. This Homemade Ginger Tea has a unique taste that’s a combination of mild sweetness and pungent pepperiness. Just add a little honey to bring out the sweetness and cut down on the spiciness. There’s no right or wrong way to drink tea. It’s all delicious! [Read more…]

I’m always on the hunt for healthy and filling snacks to curb my appetite. Nut blends, like this Fall Trail Mix, are one of my favorite go-to snacks to grab when I’m on the move. DIY Yoga Mat Cleaner

Anyone who practices yoga knows that it doesn’t take long for your mat to build up dirt and grime. This is why I’ve created an easy DIY Yoga Mat Cleaner with just a few ingredients.
Iced Matcha Latte Recipe and Benefits

Traditional green tea is made from components of the leaves, which are infused with hot water and then the leaves are discarded. Matcha, on the other hand, is made from the entire leaf, powdered, and then mixed with milk or water. I’ve never been a coffee drinker, but I love getting that caffeine fix from my morning Matcha Latte without the [Read more…]
Chocolate Chip Dessert Hummus
If you’re a raw cookie dough lover, like me, then you will love this Chocolate Chip Dessert Hummus!
I have no shame in admitting my love of raw cookie dough. I’ve been known to eat an entire sheet of Nestle Tollhouse cookie squares—never actually baking them, as intended. Being that summer is right around the corner and so is beach season I thought I’d table my cookie dough obsession for the season and try out something a little more guilt-free. [Read more…]
Tips to Help Moms Stay Happy and Healthy
Nothing has turned my world upside down like having a child. In the best way, I feel like my life has done a complete 180. Suddenly everything revolves around eating and sleep schedules, dirty diapers, mounds of laundry, potty training, human training, cars and trucks, boo-boos, Mickey, and Blippi. Sometimes I feel like there’s no time for myself. My “me time” now consists of scheduled bubble baths and stolen moments of quiet on the swing-set. And that’s ok because as long as I fit them in, I’m making progress. Progress that’s necessary for me to stay happy and healthy as a mom. [Read more…]
