Sweet and Sour Frozen Tajín Grapes
What You’ll Need
Green Grapes
Lime Juice
Sugar or Sugar Substitute (optional)
Parchment Paper
Plate

Recipe
2 cups of rinsed and dried green grapes
tbsp. fresh lime juice
2 tbsp. line juice
2 tbsp. Tajin Seasoning
2 tbsp. sugar, honey, Swerve, or other sugar substitute

Steps To Make Sweet and Sour Frozen Tajin Grapes
Rinse and dry the grapes thoroughly. Remove them from the stems and place them in a mixing bowl.
Add fresh lime juice and toss the grapes to coat evenly. If you like your grapes a little sweeter, drizzle them lightly with honey, agave syrup, sugar, or another sugar sweetener.
Sprinkle Tajín seasoning over the grapes. Gently stir or shake the bowl so every grape gets a dusting of that spicy-sour goodness. You can add more Tajín if you want a bolder kick.
Add grapes to wooden skewers and place on a plate lined with parchment paper. Make sure they are in a single layer for even freezing.
Freeze the grapes for at least 2-3 hours, or until completely frozen.
Once frozen, transfer them to an airtight container or zip-top bag and keep them in the freezer until ready to enjoy.
Variations
Instead of Sugar: Try agave, honey, maple syrup, Swerve, or Stevia.
Swap the Grapes: Instead of green grapes, try cotton candy or purple grapes.
Citrus Swap: Try fresh-squeezed lemon juice in place of lime.
For extra sour power: Roll the grapes in additional lime zest before freezing.
Try different fruits: If you’re out of grapes or they’re in season, Tajín also tastes great on frozen pineapple chunks or watermelon balls for a fun variety (future post coming)!
Tips
If you’re making this Sweet and Sour frozen Tajin Grapes ahead and storing it in the freezer, they will last a few weeks. However, if you prefer slighly frozen grapes and plan on storing them in the fridge they will only last 24-48 hours as the lime juice absorbs in to the grapes and quickly makes them soggy.
For best taste, keep frozen and enjoy within 5 – 7 days of making.
Frozen grapes aren’t just delicious—they also make a healthy, low-calorie snack rich in vitamins C and K, antioxidants, and fiber. They’re the perfect solution when you want something sweet without reaching for ice cream or candy. Plus, the spicy kick from Tajín helps curb cravings while adding excitement to a simple fruit snack. Tajín isn’t just for your spicy margs!
If you haven’t tried Sweet and Sour Frozen Tajín Grapes yet, you’re seriously missing out on one of the easiest, tastiest summer treats ever! They’re fun to make, easy to customize, and totally addicting. Whether you’re hosting friends, enjoying a family movie night, or just lounging in the sun, these frozen delights are a must-have.
