Are you looking for the perfect affordable liquid lipstick? Look no further, I have found it and you have to try it!
When it comes to makeup (and most things, honestly) I’m a bargain shopper. Even before I lived in a van and couldn’t afford expensive makeup, I preferred drugstore makeup.

Wet n Wild is one of my favorite drugstore brands because not only are they affordable, they’re also cruelty-free and a lot of their products are really great quality.

A few months ago I posted a Drugstore Makeup Haul and in it were some Wet n Wild Megalast Catsuit Liquid Matte Lipsticks. At the time I’d never tried them but I’d heard very good things so I bought a few colors.
It’s described as gliding on like butter, and claims to start out as glossy and transforms into a high-pigmented matte finish. It does not disappoint.

Applied with a doe-foot applicator it truly feels like soft velvet. And because it’s so soft, it’s easier to control, something not usually said about liquid lipstick. It also doesn’t dry the second it’s on your lips so if you mess up there’s still time to fix it.
It dries soft enough that it doesn’t feel hard, like your lips are suffocating but also dry enough that it doesn’t leave a mark on everything your lips touch.
It’s also extremely long-lasting. It stays on for hours without coming off. Unless you’re eating, then I can’t promise you won’t need to reapply, but sometimes not even then. I’ve even woken up after a night out and it’s still on lips.

I was very impressed with the pigmentation of these colors too. I have 3 that range from dark to light and all of them apply smoothly without streaks.
There are over 20 shades and the best part is that it’s only $4.99! I’m so excited to finally share my review on this amazing product. Now there’s no reason to waste your money when it compares to high-end liquid lipsticks.
Have you ever tried Wet n Wild’s Liquid Lipstick? What’s your favorite shade?
