This Easy Funfetti Mug Cake is so quick and simple to make—and you probably have the ingredients already in your pantry! So grab some flour, sugar, and butter and let’s get to the good stuff.

Get yourself a microwave safe mug and mix all your dry ingredients together in the mug. Next, melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl for about 20-30 seconds. Add the milk and vanilla extract and whisk until well blended. Take those wet ingredients and pour them into the mug along with about a tablespoon of sprinkles. Mix it up until there are no clumps. Throw it in the microwave for about 90 seconds and you’ve got yourself a deliciously Easy Funfetti Mug Cake!
You can eat it just like this right out of the microwave or sweeten it up a bit more with an easy frosting. If you prefer a tad more sweetness, mix up some powdered sugar and milk and top off your mug cake with frosting and a shake more of rainbow sprinkles.

- 1/4 cup Flour + 1.5 tsp. Flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 2.5 tbsp. Sugar
- 2 tbsp. Melted butter
- 3 tbsp. Milk
- 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- Rainbow sprinkles
- Pinch of Salt
Frosting:
- 3 Heaping tbsp. Powdered Sugar
- 2 – 2.5 tsp. Milk
Directions:
- Mix dry ingredients together in a microwave safe mug.
- In a separate bowl, whisk melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Add wet ingredients and sprinkles to the mug and mix well.
- Heat in microwave for 90 seconds.
Frosting Directions:
Mix powdered sugar and milk together until it forms a thick frosting. Top off mug cake with frosting and more sprinkles. Enjoy!
