Picture this… a cold, crisp glass of homemade tea on a hot summer day. One of my favorite flavor combinations during these warmer months (or anytime I want a burst of freshness) is our Lemon Blueberry Mint Green Tea. This simple and flavorful recipe is a drink that combines the subtle earthiness of green tea with the sweet tang of blueberries, the zesty brightness of lemon, and the cooling touch of mint. Whether served hot for a cozy moment or iced for a summer refresher, this tea is easy to make, packed with antioxidants, and so delicious!
I love iced tea! Not sweet tea like most Southerners. I love unsweetened or slightly sweetened tea. Flavored iced teas are even better. One of the reasons that I love this Lemon Blueberry Mint Green Tea so much is that it combines green tea with vitamin C–rich lemon, antioxidant-loaded blueberries, and digestion-soothing mint. It’s a powerhouse drink that’s as healing as it is refreshing. So, whether you’re looking for a health boost or simply a tasty way to sip through the day, green tea is always a smart, nourishing choice.

What You’ll Need
Sauce Pan
Recipe
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
4 green tea bags
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
Handful of fresh mint leaves
2 tbsp. honey
6 cups of water
Steps To Make Lemon Blueberry Mint Green Tea
Add blueberries and honey to a saucepan and simmer on medium heat until blueberries burst. This usually takes about 5 -7 minutes. Once they burst and release their flavorful juices, remove from the heat and strain.
Add the blueberries to a fine mesh strainer, and press the remaining juices into a bowl. Discard the remaining solid blueberries or compost them.

Brew green tea. I added 4 tea bags to 6 cups of boiling water. Steep for anywhere from 5-10 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea. Let the tea cool completely.
Muddle a handful of fresh mint and the blueberry mixture.
In a large pitcher, combine tea, blueberry and mint juices, and the lemon juice. You can add a little extra honey if you’d like. I also added some ice.
Serve over ice, and garnish with a lemon slice, whole fresh blueberries, and extra mint.
Variations
Instead of Honey: Try agave, maple syrup, Swerve, or Stevia.
Swap the Berries: This green tea recipe would taste great with raspberries, blackberries, or a combination of all three.
Ditch the Caffeine: If green tea isn’t your thing, you can try herbal tea or just plain Lipton.
Citrus Swap: Try fresh oranges in place of lemon.
Tips
If you’re making this tea ahead and storing it in the refrigerator, don’t forget to stir before serving as some seperation may happen.
For best taste, enjoy within 5 days of making.
