Cinnamon Sugar Candied Nuts make tasty treats for Valentine’s Day or for any special occasion. They also make nice hostess gifts or party favors. They’re so simple to make that you can actually make them anytime at all—because they’re so delicious.
Any nut or combination of nuts will work for this simple recipe. I chose walnuts, pecans, and cashews but all nuts are tasty and healthy. Nuts are full of healthy fats, protein, fiber, and a wide range of nutrients like vitamin e, magnesium, and selenium. These Cinnamon Sugar Candied Nuts make healthy and filling snacks. They also smell so delicious—the last time I made them everyone who came into the house kept asking, “What smells so good? Is that Cinnamon?” These Cinnamon Sugar Candied Nuts were definitely a huge hit!
If you have any leftover nuts, you can always coat them with some melted chocolate chips for another quick and tasty snack.

CINNAMON SUGAR CANDIED NUTS
Ingredients:
- ½ C. Walnuts
- ½ C. Pecans
- ½ C. Cashews
- ¼ C. Butter
- ¼ C. + 1 Tbsp. Granulated Sugar (divided)
- 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
- Bowls
- Large Skillet
- Baking sheet
- Tin foil

Directions:
- Line baking sheet with tin foil.
- Combine 1 Tbsp. of sugar and 1 Tbsp. cinnamon is a medium bowl and set aside.
- Melt butter in large skillet.
- Add sugar and stir over high heat until sugar is dissolved.
- Reduce heat to medium and add nuts.
- Stir until nuts are toasted—about 3 minutes.
- Add the hot nuts to the bowl of cinnamon and sugar mix and toss to coat.
- Spread on baking sheet to cool.
When your Cinnamon Sugar Candied Nuts are cool, package them in glass jars or tins and give them to your Valentine or special someone for any occasion. They’ll love these delicious snacks no matter what time of year it is!

CHOCOLATE COVERED NUTS
Ingredients:
- ½ C. Walnuts
- ½ C. Pecans
- ½ C. Cashews
- 6 0z. Semi-Sweet chocolate chips
- Bowls
- Baking sheet
- Tin foil or parchment paper
- Sandwich bag
Directions:
- Line medium baking sheet with tin foil or parchment paper.
- Combine nuts in a bowl to mix then spread flat and even on a baking sheet.
- Melt chocolate chips in the microwave for approximately 2 minutes.
- Put melted chocolate in a sandwich bag and cut the tip off the bag to use as a pastry bag.
- Drizzle chocolate over nuts.
- Put the baking sheet in the refrigerator to let chocolate harden.
- Break apart and serve.

OMG the cinnamon sugar nuts are right up my alley! Growing up, we would go to Germany to visit my grandparents and my mom would always buy me cinnamon sugar nuts at the Christmas markets so it is super nostalgic for me!!
