I love yoga. It’s become one of my favorite ways to relax my mind and body when I need it most. One thing that doesn’t relax my mind though– is thinking about all the nasty stuff that’s on my yoga mat, especially after an intense sweaty practice! January is coming to an end, and many of us are settling into our busy routines. If you’re like me, you’re probably already working away on your resolutions and goals for the New Year. Many of my goals have often centered on getting better at or doing more of something I’m already working on. Yet regardless of what time of year it is, or what I’m already doing, it’s always a good time to start something new.
Learning and doing new things are physically and emotionally healthy.
About a month and a half ago I started a program called Beach Body. It usually involves Shakeology, your choice of exercise regime, and probably meal prepping. You can read my post here, all about meal prepping and starting with this program.
Now that some time has passed since I began I’ve had some time to adjust and make changes. I started this program with the mindset of wanting to change my lifestyle. I didn’t want to diet and lose weight for the time being. I wanted to change my bad habits into good habits. And it worked – for a while.
