I’m going to keep it short and sweet- right to the point as graduation, for most, is this week. This DIY Graduation Cap Money Holder is certainly a thoughtful card for your graduate that shows off your DIY skills, as well as, just how much you care.

Supplies:
- Card Stock or Poster Board (School Color or Black)
- Scissors
- Razor
- Pencil
- Metal Brad
- Embroidery Floss (School Color or Yellow/Golden)
Directions:
- Draw the outline of the graduation cap according to outline below.
- Cut out cap.
- Fold left corner over to the right to form the graduation cap.
- Cut off any extra paper that doesn’t line up properly.
- Using a razor, cut a small slit in the middle of the cap’s top and insert brad.
- Follow instructions below to form tassel.
- Finish tassel to look like this.
- Wrap tassel around brad and push brad in to secure.
- On the inside, cut slits for a gift card or cash.
- Add message if desired.
