I’m going to keep it short and sweet- right to the point as graduation, for most, is this week. If you’re like me and last minute is the name of your game, then check out this fairly easy and last minute mom project you can finish just in time for graduation. This DIY Graduation Cap Money Holder is certainly a thoughtful card for your graduate that shows off your DIY skills, as well as, just how much you care.

Supplies:
- Card Stock or Poster Board (School Color or Black)
- Scissors
- Razor
- Pencil
- Metal Brad
- Embroidery Floss (School Color or Yellow/Golden)
Directions:
- Draw the outline of the graduation cap according to outline below.
- Cut out cap.
- Fold left corner over to the right to form the graduation cap.
- Cut off any extra paper that doesn’t line up properly.
- Using a razor, cut a small slit in the middle of the cap’s top and insert brad.
- Follow instructions below to form tassel.
- Finish tassel to look like this.
- Wrap tassel around brad and push brad in to secure.
- On the inside, cut slits for a gift card or cash.
- Add message if desired.
