We share ideas and information on DIY projects, beauty, nutritious recipes, parenting, learning resources for children, green living, and so much more. There’s definitely something here for everyone!
We- Lisa and Meagan- are a mom and daughter team. We work together in our local family business and our creative projects. We’re part of a close-knit family. We’re moms, wives, businesswomen, entrepreneurs, and creatives at heart.
We love family, healthy living, learning, and being part of a community that supports and inspires one another.
Our goal is to share as many of our ideas & experiences with you in hopes of inspiring our readers to explore and conquer the world around them… or maybe just conquer today.

Lisa
Lisa is a mother of three lovely young women and is a new grandmother to a baby boy! She has been married to her high school sweetheart for more than thirty years. Lisa is originally from Dearborn Heights, Michigan, but has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1984. Running a small business for over 25 years and raising a family has made for a busy, busy life with many ups and downs; it’s definitely been an adventure.
Lisa’s always involved in one project or another whether it’s work-related or serving her community. She also recently went back to school to finish her bachelor’s degree in American Studies. Lisa tries to make every day a good day—that means learning something new, practicing kindness, and enjoying the present moment.
Meagan
Hi! I’m Meagan I just turned 40! I’ve been married for 14 years. I’m a proud boy mom, happily navigating my way through the little boy years. I met my husband over 20 years ago in high school; we got married 10 years later after graduating from the University of South Florida. I currently help run a family business with my parents while blogging about my life and love of DIY projects!
When I’m not at a kids’ sports game, I enjoy spending time with my family on a beach anywhere. I also love decorating and organizing, fun DIY projects, bargain shopping, and eating out or in! I also love Barbecue anything and a good show or movie on Netflix.
