And they’re a snap to make with kids, who might I add, lose interest real quick when baking is time-consuming.
What you need to make these Valentine’s Day Sandwich Cookies:
- Vanilla Wafer Cookies
- Nut Butter (peanut, almond, sunflower, or cookie butter)
- Valentines theme sprinkles or just regular rainbow sprinkles
- Spread your favorite nut butter on one side of a vanilla wafer cookie.
- Top it off with a second vanilla wafer cookie and squish together just enough for some of the nut butter to come over the edges.
- Roll edges in sprinkles.
Tip: Use thicker nut butter if possible. If too creamy you try adding some powdered sugar and peanut butter to a bowl and mix it up so it’s a thicker consistency.
