After a long and treacherous winter (just kidding), Spring is finally here and that means it’s time to start planting flowers and veggies, cleaning the house, and decorating for the new season. Which means my weekends are filled with trips to Home Depot and Target, and that’s okay with me!
Recently, on what I thought would be a quick trip to Target, I found the Dollar Spot to be screaming my name as my son and I walked through the door. The Target Dollar Spot is one of my favorite places to find bargains! It has everything from charming notepads and pens for my office to inexpensive, but cute home décor. I was pleasantly surprised to find some great Easter décor to add to my collection this year without breaking the bank.

I’ve always loved the idea of getting out my holiday décor and strategically placing it on a mantle over a warm fireplace. But, I live in Florida and in-home fireplaces are hard to come by. My dream of a beautiful Easter mantle will just have to settle on a beautiful Easter buffet table.
While riffling through my Easter stash, I decided that my collection was severely lacking so I took to my favorite pastime…SHOPPING! I hit the stores and bought a few new bunnies at Bealls Outlet (a Florida Store), a wooden sign at Hobby Lobby, and a rabbit driving a race car carrot at Marshalls. It was love at first sight when my 19-month-old son and I walked into the store. Apparently, it was screaming his name as we walked through the automatic sliding doors. So, in the cart it went!

My “quick” trip to Target turned into about an hour as I wavered on which ceramic bunnies to buy and how many fake succulents I needed. After all, they were in The Dollar Spot, how could I resist.
