If you read my post about February’s Ipsy bag, you know I was not happy with it. Well, let’s just say that March’s bag MORE than makes up for it. I absolutely LOVE everything in my Ipsy bag, including the bag itself!
February Ipsy Bag
This month’s Ipsy bag was interesting, to say the least. I don’t want to give away too much before I review the products so let’s dive right in.
tarte Swamp Queen Review
It was the day after Christmas and Tarte was having a 60% off sale. Our eyes met from across the screen and I just couldn’t say no to Swamp Queen.
I don’t know what exactly inspired me to buy this palette. I’ve never tried a full face palette from Tarte before and I guess it was too cute to pass up! So I was really excited to try the Swamp Queen Palette with Grav3yard Girl palette!
January Ipsy Review
If I had to rate my January Ipsy bag, it would be a 9 out of 10! While I wasn’t expecting to love every product, I was pleasantly surprised that I did, for the most part.
Here’s what I thought of this month’s Ipsy bag:
DIY Valentine’s Day Gift Wreath
Valentine’s Day is just a few weeks away, and I’ve come up with a cute way to decorate and give someone special a gift. Valentine’s Day isn’t just for couples – it’s about friends and family too. So if you’re thinking of giving your best friend, daughter, sister, or significant other something special, I’ve got the perfect thing. [Read more…]
Simple Too Faced Eye Shadow Tutorial
This week I’m doing a simple eyeshadow tutorial on a look that I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on. I don’t fancy myself as a beauty guru but I have learned a lot from them. I’ve learned to take chances and experiment with my eye makeup.
I’m using the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon eye pallet for this look. It’s perfect for a night out with friends or even Date night.
Top 5 Favorite e.l.f. Products
e.l.f. stands for Eyes Lips and Face. This brand is one of my all-time favorite makeup brands because it’s vegan (mostly), doesn’t test on animals, cheap, and is great quality. Usually, that’s a very hard combination to find.
I’ve been using e.l.f. products for years and they just keep getting better in quality and selection. They’re always coming out with something new and expanding their collections. Below I’ve listed my top 5 favorite e.l.f. products, some that I’ve been using for years and others only more recently.

November Ipsy Review
My November Ipsy Glam Bag review is here! Before we get into that, I want to remind everyone that it is the holiday season and Ipsy makes a great gift! I pay a monthly subscription fee of $10 every month, but you could pay an annual subscription fee of $120 and give a year’s worth of Ipsy as a gift! You just have to remember to cancel it before it renews on your credit card the following year. If you’re not familiar with exactly what Ipsy is, you can read my August review explaining all about it. Otherwise, you probably already know and that’s why you’re here. So let’s get started.

Fall Favorites – From a Floridian
Fall can be a confusing time for a Floridian. While the rest of the country is wrapped up in their scarves and boots we’re still rocking tank tops and flip-flops. We’re lucky if the temperature drops below 85 before December. And if it does, we immediately bust out those boots, scarves, or beanies like its 40 degrees out. (But we’re sweating by 2pm because the sun came out and it’s back up to 85 – probably). It’s a weird time for us.
BUT that doesn’t mean we don’t trick ourselves into thinking it’s fall with a couple of other things – like pumpkin spice everything, apple cider, and pumpkin patches.
And I still like to enjoy all the fall styles! Dark colored clothes; berry and gold tones, and yes, boots with dresses.
These are just some of the things I’ve been enjoying this fall season:
Ipsy September Glam Bag Review
It’s that time of the month again! My favorite time of the month, when my Ipsy Glam Bag comes! I get so excited when I see that pink envelope in the mailbox. (If you’re not familiar with Ipsy, check out my last review where I explain how it works.) This month the Glam bag was gray and gold with abstract dancing girls on it. I didn’t even notice at first, but the girls are actually spelling out Ipsy with their arms. Not my favorite Glam bag design but still cute!
Ipsy August Glam Bag Review
Ipsy is a monthly subscription service for makeup. It’s only $10 a month. There are a few other similar subscription boxes but I tried this one and so far I love it! You get 6 products, including the “glam” bag, 4 sample size products, and 1 full-size product. It could be anything ranging from makeup, hair, and skin products. It is all based on a profile you set up for yourself. You choose which brands and products you’re interested in. Usually, everyone’s product selection is a little different.
