Pokémon Valentine’s Day Treat Bags
What You Need
Clear Treat Bags (Find some for less than $3 in the Walmart party supplies aisle)
Pokémon Valentine’s Day Cards with Rubber Keychain (Amazon)
Pokémon Vinyl Stickers (Amazon)
Chocolate Hearts
Pokémon Gummies (Walmart or Amazon)
Tags (optional)
Ribbon (optional)
Hole Puncher (only needed if you’re making a tag)
Marker or pen
Assemble the Bags
Step 1: Choose Your Treat Bags
Start by selecting your treat bags. You can find red, pink, or even Poké Ball-inspired bags at craft stores or online. If you want to go the extra mile, you can print Pokémon designs and attach them to plain bags. I used these clear bags so that you can see the Pokémon treats inside.
Step 2: Gather Your Pokémon Goodies
Fill the treat bags with fun Pokémon-themed items. Some great ideas include Pokémon trading cards, small figurines, stickers, and gummies that match the theme. Try wrapping chocolates in red and white foil to resemble Poké Balls! Below are some of the items I used.
I purchased a set of Pokemon Valentine’s Day cards with keychains on Amazon (as pictured) but they’re out of stock at the moment. This set is similar and available now. Have your child fill out the cards with their classmates’ names. It’s more meaningful if they fill out the cards rather than you filling them out. It’s fun for them to be involved in the process of giving while practicing their handwriting skills.

Step 3: Add a Personal Touch
Print out or create your own Valentine’s Day tags featuring Pikachu, Charmander, or your favorite Pokémon. Write sweet messages like “You’re a Dynamax friend!” or “You make my heart Spark!” Attach the tags to the treat bags with ribbon or twist ties. You can also download our FREE Pokémon tags below.
Step 4: Assemble and Decorate
Add some tissue paper or crinkle-cut paper filler to give the bags a festive and colorful look. Then, carefully close the bags and tie them up neatly. Finish them off by decorating the exterior with stickers or personalized notes.
Step 5: Share the Pokémon Love!
Now that your Pokémon Valentine’s Day treat bags are ready, it’s time to share them with friends, family, or classmates. Whether you hand them out at school, work, or a party, they’re sure to bring smiles to Pokémon fans of all ages.
