In case you don’t already know how Ipsy works – it is a monthly makeup subscription service in which you receive 5 makeup products, usually sample size, and from a wide price range – but it only costs you $10 a month! You also receive amazing discounts on the brands and have the opportunity to earn free products as well.
So now that you know how amazing Ipsy is, you won’t be deterred from trying it when I tell you that I’m canceling my subscription. Yes, you read that right, this will be my last month of reviewing Ipsy bags. My reasons for canceling have absolutely nothing to do with how amazing the brand and service is.
No, my reasons for canceling are mostly to do with wanting to save a little bit of money as well as take a step back from collecting so much makeup. While I love to try new products and receiving great products for so cheap, I think it’s time to realize how much waste I’m creating. While it’s mostly cruelty-free and even some vegan makeup, it’s still not an eco-friendly practice. I’d like to find other ways of experimenting with makeup.

That being said, this was one of the best months of Ipsy I’ve ever received and I’m happy to go out on a high note.
So here is my November Ipsy Review:
TOO FACED
Hangover 3-in-1 Replenishing Primer and Setting Spray
This product claims to brighten, tone, and improve skin elasticity. This product was only 0.06oz. There was barely enough in the container to really test that claim because I could only use this product about 5 times. However, I did use it for a primer and it definitely held up all day long. I did also use it as a setting spray and I feel like it held up for that too. I would be willing to try this product again.
NAKED COSMETICS
Mother Nature #06
I only have good things to say about this product. I love the color, it’s such a beautiful metallic that I’m just obsessed with. It makes me feel like a heavy metal mermaid. It is a loose pigment eyeshadow, which I don’t typically wear, so it needs to be handled a little more delicately. I love it.
SLMISSGLAM
B36 Tapered Highlight Brush
This is the second brush I have received by this brand from Ipsy and I love it! It’s so glamorous and very on trend with the unicorn-esc coloring and jewels. It’s a little smaller than the Luxie highlighter brush I’ve been using and I actually really like that. It’s the perfect size for light highlighting.

TOUCH IN SOL
Advanced Real Moisture Liquid Foundation SPF 30 PA ++ in Shade #23 Natural Beige or Shade #21 Nude Beige
I was a little skeptical of trying a face product someone else picked out for me because I usually have a really hard time with foundations. But I was super impressed with this foundation. The color was a perfect match and the consistency was surprisingly perfect as well. It’s not too thick or dewey, which is always a problem for me in this Florida humidity, and it has really great coverage, I’d say medium to buildable. I will definitely keep using this!
COLOURPOP COSMETICS
Ultra Satin Lip in Calypso or Baracuda
I usually save the best for last in my reviews but everything was amazing in this bag so I can’t exactly say it’s the best but probably my favorite! I have always wanted to try Colourpop liquid lipsticks and I was SO EXCITED when I saw this. It definitely lives up to all the hype. It applies with precision with the doe foot applicator. It stays on even through eating and drinking, leaving almost a stain like look because it doesn’t dry down completely. I was thoroughly impressed and will be buying more.

I would say this bag was probably the most successful bag I’ve ever received. I absolutely loved everything in it and will use everything, some in my everyday routine.
I’ll be sad when I don’t receive an Ipsy bag for the first time in almost 2 years next month, but I still highly recommend you try it! It’s a great way to test out new makeup and it’s just fun!

The colors of the products look nice! Love the variety of products included in this box.
That’s a good price and I love the blue brush.
I’ve never tried a subscription box of any type. This looks like it actually has great products.
It’s awesome because you get to try so much makeup for so cheap!
