Valentine’s Day classroom parties are not what they used to be when I was a kid. Card exchanges are not just cards anymore! They’ve become more extravagant- equivalent to birthday-type party favors. More often than not, my kid comes home with bags full of toys, figures, candy, and cards.
This means he needs something big to hold all of his loot. This DIY Pokéball Valentine’s Day Box is perfect and so cute for class Valentine’s Day parties. Check out my easy tutorial below.

DIY Pokeball Valentine’s Day Box Directions
Step 1: Cut out red & white pieces of card stock to cover the entire box. Red goes on top and white on the bottom. I did this by holding the box against the paper and measuring out how big of a piece I would need to cover all four sides of the lid and top portion of the box.
Step 2: Cut out 4 strips of black card stock to go around the center of the box. Next, cut black and white circles to go in the middle. I used jars to measure the 2 circles (2 different sizes).
Step 3: Begin gluing all your pieces of card stock to the box. I used hot glue.
Step 4: Use this site to print out your child’s name in that signature Pokémon font. Glue the name onto the front of the box.
