If you’re new to the Keto lifestyle and you’re wondering what kind of diet allows you to eat something called “Fat Bombs” then let me tell you that they’re amazing! Fat Bombs, like these Almond Butter Cheesecake Fat Bombs, are high fat, low sugar, and low carb snacks that usually consists of healthy fats like almond butter, coconut oil, orgrass-fed butter.
When I first started thinking about giving Keto a try, I was a little hesitant at the idea of not only lowering my carb intake but limiting my sugar intake as well. I have a MAJOR sweet tooth and can say that these Almond Butter Cheesecake Fat Bombs hit the spot every time.

Another awesome thing about Fat Bombs, these included, is that they are the perfect size snack that will fill you up without the inevitable sugar crash you get with most other sugary treats.
I sweetened these Almond Butter Cheesecake Fat Bombs with Swerve, a granular sugar substitute that’s used in place of sugar. I like it better than most other sweeteners because there’s no bitter aftertaste. You can buy Swerve on Amazon or most organic markets like Whole Foods, Sprouts, or Earth Fare. I just recently found it at my local Publix (a southern grocery store chain), which is a major score!
Let me warn you that these are so tasty, you’re going to want to eat a few at a time but remember moderation is key to any diet lifestyle.

You might read other bloggers recommend storing Fat Bombs in the freezer but I personally don’t like the “freezer taste” that accompanies it once the Fat Bomb is thawed. Nor do I like how hard it is when I want to eat it immediately. I store my Fat Bombs in the refrigerator and they’re usually gone in a week…especially with my husband and I both eating Keto. My 3-year-old even loves them so they’re gone pretty quickly. Maybe think about freezer storage if you make them in bulk.
This recipe yields about 10 Almond Butter Cheesecake Fat Bombs, which, again, is perfect for the week.
Hope you like these Almond Butter Cheesecake Fat Bombs as much as I do!
