Our Mission:
From Under a Palm Tree is a Florida based lifestyle blog run by Lisa, Christina, & Meagan – a mom & 2 daughters. We focus on natural, creative, and mindful living.
We blog about wellness, beauty, nutritious recipes, DIY, family life, and green living.
Our goal is to share as many of our ideas & experiences with you in hopes of inspiring our readers to explore and conquer the world around them… or maybe just conquer today.
Thank you for visiting!
From Under a Palm Tree is a lifestyle blog. It comes from the group effort of a family of women wanting to expand their lives beyond everyday horizons. We are a 50+ year old mom and three daughters who are a bit spread apart in age.
We’re a close-knit group who spends time together outside of our family-run business — always planning a weekend event or just a Wednesday night dinner. We’re all at different points in our lives and have different points of view.
Lisa has more time on her hands for new goals and projects as she becomes an empty nester; Meagan is a thirty-something wife and new mom; Christina is newly engaged and a recent college grad navigating her way into the world; and the youngest is a senior in high school… so she does what high schoolers do!
Another thing we girls share is PKD (polycystic kidney disease), a disease that may have minimal impact on our lives or it may cause renal failure like it did for Lisa in 2013 when she had a kidney transplant. Life is too short not to do all the things you want to do or have all the adventures you want to have. We wanted to write this blog together to enjoy and share it with all of you.
There’s something here for everyone: wellness, home and family, parenting, DIY projects, party and event planning, cooking, beauty tutorials, and recommendations.
**It’s all here!!!
Meet the Bloggers!
Lisa
Lisa is a mother of three lovely young women and is a new grandmother to a baby boy! She has been married to her high school sweetheart for more than thirty years. Lisa is originally from Dearborn Heights, Michigan, but has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1984. Running a small business for over 25 years and raising a family has made for a busy, busy life with many ups and downs; it’s definitely been an adventure.
Lisa’s always involved in one project or another whether it’s work related or serving her community. She also recently went back to school to finish her bachelor’s degree in American Studies. Lisa tries to make every day a good day—that means learning something new, practicing kindness, and enjoying the present moment.
Meagan
Meagan is in her mid-thirties and has been married for almost 10 years. She is a proud boy mom, happily navigating her way through the toddler years. She met her husband 20 years ago in high school; they got married 10 years later after graduating from the University of South Florida. Meagan currently helps run a family business with her parents and sister, while blogging about her life and taking care of her three-year-old son full time (at work)!
When she isn’t chasing her son around and constantly picking up Matchbox cars, she enjoys spending time with her family on a beach anywhere. She also loves decorating and organizing her home, delving into fun DIY projects, bargain shopping, and eating at unique restaurants. She also loves Barbecue anything and a good show or movie on Netflix.
Christina

Christina is a newly married twenty-something living with her husband and beagle, Mash. After graduating college with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management she went onto work in the corporate business world. But she left to work with family and blog about her life. Now working gives her the unique opportunity to explore her more artistic and creative side. Painting, DIY-ing, and photography are just some of her artistic passions.
Christina is a vegetarian who enjoys trying new things, reading & binge-watching TV shows, shopping, exploring, and live music. After years of following the Dave Matthews Band every summer, Christina and her new husband are embarking on a new adventure as #vanlifers. They rebuilt a van to live in it and travel the country!
