It’s that time of year again when we’re all shopping for that perfect last minute gift. It’s hard these days when shopping is as easy as the 1-Click option on Amazon. You can even order groceries online and have them delivered!
With the world turning digital, gifts are turning digital too! It’s easy to go to the nearest drug store and pick up a gift card. But when buying gifts for the modern digital friend, there are other gift card options to consider.
The following are not your average gift cards; these are gift cards that are gateways to the greater digital world. They’re perfect for the television binge-watcher, book-lover, and internet shopper (which could be anyone). These are only 5 digital gifts, but I guarantee if you’re looking for a last minute gift for Christmas, birthday, Easter – you can’t go wrong with these gifts.
Below are 5 Digital Gift Cards everyone will love:
Netflix Gift Card – First, I had no idea this existed until recently and I am very excited about it. You can buy a Netflix gift card on Amazon (of course) and they’ll email it to the recipient. It’s perfect for anyone who loves to binge on TV and movies. It’s also perfect for kids who don’t have credit cards and keep mooching off your account (and you’re sick of being kicked off your own account).
Hulu Plus Gift Card – Again, no idea this existed until recently! You can purchase it at Bestbuy.com. The gift cards come in $25 or $50. Hulu is another streaming service perfect for TV and movie bingers, but it can also be great for someone who wants to keep up with their shows without having to pay for cable!
Spotify Premium Gift card – This one’s a little different. It’s an actual gift card that you can buy from Amazon and have it shipped to you or the recipient. Any music lover will love it no matter the form it comes in. Spotify Premium gives the user access to all kinds of music – new releases, remastered tracks, playlists, radio stations, and even podcasts! All without commercials or need for WIFI. I actually just purchased my own subscription at $9.99 a month! They even have family plans to share accounts with multiple members. Any music lover will appreciate a Spotify premium gift card.

Amazon Prime Gift Membership– I’m sure most people have heard of Amazon Prime, but did you know you can purchase a one-year gift membership right from Amazon? I didn’t know that and I’ve had Amazon Prime for years. I can’t imagine shopping online without it. The free 2-day shipping, the free music, the free movies and TV shows – I love Amazon Prime! Yes, it’s a pricier gift on this list at $99 for one year, but even if it’s just a gift to yourself, you won’t regret it. There are just too many amazing features; I could go on and on.
Audible Gift Membership –Audible is a subscription service that allows the user to purchase, download, and listen to audiobooks anywhere. It’s linked to Amazon, allowing the user to have access to books directly from Amazon. To purchase the gift membership, go to Audible.com and you can purchase a 3-month membership for $45, 6 months for $90, or $150 for 12 months. As someone who drives a lot and listens to a lot of podcasts, I personally would love this gift. However, one downfall is that the books are a bit more expensive compared to a paperback or a Kindle edition.
