e.l.f. stands for Eyes Lips and Face. This brand is one of my all-time favorite makeup brands because it’s vegan (mostly), doesn’t test on animals, cheap, and is great quality. Usually, that’s a very hard combination to find.
I’ve been using e.l.f. products for years and they just keep getting better in quality and selection. They’re always coming out with something new and expanding their collections. Below I’ve listed my top 5 favorite e.l.f. products, some that I’ve been using for years and others only more recently.
Top 5 Favorite e.l.f. Products:
e.l.f. Waterproof Eyeliner Pen
e.l.f. Waterproof Eyeliner Pen
This is the newest e.l.f. product in my collection which I’ve been using it for about 2-3 months. So far, it’s lasted longer than any other felt tip liner I’ve tried (which usually taps around a month). Even if it did only last a month, at $2 I wouldn’t feel bad about buying it again right away. It’s good quality, it’s waterproof, and it’s cheap. As long as they make it, I will buy this product.
e.l.f. Poreless Face Primer
I have been using e.l.f. face primers for years, off and on. I’d always struggled to find a face primer that felt right. I’ve probably tried them all, but it wasn’t until recently that I realized this one works best for me. It feels like velvet on my skin. It’s not dewy, it’s not dry, and it’s perfect. But if the poreless primer isn’t for you, e.l.f. has all different kinds to choose from. It’s only $6 to try.
e.l.f. Baked Highlighter
I was so excited to try this baked shimmery highlighter from e.l.f. and it did not disappoint. I’ve been using this product for about 3 months (I think I bought it the first time I bought the eyeliner). I’d been looking for an affordable highlighter and like I said, the e.l.f. brand is good quality for a low price. So when I found the highlighter for $4, I was excited. I use the shade Moonlight Pearls but it does come in other colors. Because it’s baked it’s not too powdery but still applies smooth and light. I probably wear this more than I should, but it works for both night and day looks!
e.l.f. Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer
I have been using this product for years! It’s only $2 and it comes in 2 shades. I’ve used the Pearl shade which has a little shimmer in it, nothing too noticeable. I’ve only used the sheer shade, which is currently in my collection. I love these because you don’t need a lot and it still lasts all day. I’ve tried other eye primers but I always come back to this one.
e.l.f. Powder Blush Palette
I had to mention this (even though I’ve already talked about it in a Fall Favorites). This pallet comes in a light and dark option. It’s one of my favorite blush pallets. It’s perfect for traveling, which is what I bought it for. It’s a good selection of 4 colors to use for blush and contour. At only $6, of course, I love this product!
Bonus:
e.l.f. Makeup Mist & Set
This product isn’t necessarily a favorite or even an honorable mention, but it deserves notice. It’s a good product that only cost $3 and comes in a travel-ready spray bottle. I don’t always like to use a product like this because it makes my skin look and feel dewy. In this Florida humidity, I don’t need more of that. However, it’s great because it does work for setting makeup. So if you’re looking for a makeup setting spray, it doesn’t hurt to give it a try!
For now, those are my favorite e.l.f. products. I am always looking for a new product to try. If you’re thinking about buying some e.l.f. products, I recommend buying them from the website. You can usually get free shipping or a free gift with a $25 order.
Let me know in the comments below if you’ve tried these products and what you thought. What are some of your favorite e.l.f. products? Do you have any recommendations for me?
