Summer is just around the corner and that means lots of goodies from the garden. Some of those delicious goodies are fresh herbs! There’s nothing like the scent and taste of sweet basil at this time of year. This Homemade Basil Pesto is the perfect sauce for easy summertime meals.
If you’re a vegetable or herb gardener, you know that dreaded feeling of having too much leftover and not wanting any of your hard, nurturing work to go to waste. Usually, when this happens I start handing out dozens of tomatoes, excess leafy greens, and basil by the handful.
