Bleach-Free Stain Remover for White Clothes
It’s the beginning of Spring and in Florida, that means the white denim makes its way from the back of my closet to the forefront and become a staple in my daily attire. I love white clothes—white shorts, white denim jackets, white tees, white slides, and my favorite…my white denim jeggings! I love them so much that I have two of the same pair so I can wear the heck out of them all spring and summer. The only problem is that I also have a 3, almost four-year-old boy, who’s a bit of a piggy. Between park visits and crumby hands they almost always get a stain on them which makes wearing between washes very rare. I recently discovered this amazingly [Read more…]
Easter Chick Handprint Card
It’s that time of the year…time for another DIY handprint card! One of my favorite parts of the holidays is making handprint cards. This year, my son is finally at the age where he can make them almost completely by himself. My son’s favorite book series is Duck & Goose, we read at least one or two (out of 15 or so in the series) a night. So, when I asked if he wanted to make this Easter Chick Handprint Card for some family members, he was delighted. Below, you can find [Read more…]

Phelan, PhD is an easy-to-read book about effective discipline for children 2-12 years old. I tell every mom I know about how its healthy and effective methods of discipline have helped transform the way I deal with tantrums, bad habits, and defiance without all the

Keto Pizza Zucchini Boats
I know I’m a little late to the Keto diet train but my husband has been going strong on Keto for the past 2 years so I finally decided to give it a shot! Another one of the top reasons is that it’s been a little difficult having 3 different diets in one household. When I say diets, I mean that there are [Read more…]
DIY Valentine’s Day Bubble Blower
Bubbles are one of my son’s favorite outdoor activities. Not only does he love to blow them but he also loves to run around and chase them. I don’t know what it is about bubbles that kids go crazy for but I don’t care because I know when I take them out it’s at least a good 30 minutes of fun and running around. My favorite time to play with bubbles is right before nap time—the running around gets him [Read more…]
Master Bedroom Closet Reorganization Tips
Last year, for our anniversary, my husband gave me one of the best gifts he’s ever gotten me…a closet makeover! For the past 9 years, we’ve had the same closet with the standard wire racks all around the top. While this type of closet design is fine for most, my husband and I had been using separate closets for the past 9 years- me using our master bedroom closet and him using our son’s playroom closet. We both have way too many clothes and shoes and not enough space so it was time for a change! After multiple rack falls and fixes, I reorganized [Read more…]
Christmas Tree Magnet
With Christmas just about a week away, I’ve been doing some fun holiday crafts with my 3-year-old. A few weeks ago, during Thanksgiving, we made a turkey magnet which you can see here. It was so easy and quick that I decided to also make a Christmas Tree Magnet. We made a couple to give as gifts to grandparents and the few who can really appreciate a toddler’s one-of-a-kind artwork. [Read more…]
