How Do Lemon Ginger Shots Boost Your Immune System?
Lemon ginger shots are a concentrated mix of nutrient-rich ingredients that provide a quick and effective health boost.
Rich in Vitamin C: Lemons are an excellent source of vitamin C, which supports immune function, improves skin health, and aids in collagen production.
Powerful Anti-Inflammatory: Ginger contains compounds like gingerol, which reduce inflammation and soothe the digestive system.
Detoxifying Properties: This combination helps flush out toxins, promoting liver health and better digestion.
Energy Boosting: The natural zing of ginger combined with the tang of lemon provides an instant pick-me-up.
More Key Ingredients
While lemon and ginger are the stars, these additional ingredients can enhance the potency of your immunity shots.
Turmeric: Known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, turmeric adds a golden hue and extra health benefits.
Cayenne Pepper: Stimulates circulation and adds a metabolism-boosting kick.
Honey: Raw honey not only sweetens the shot but also provides antimicrobial properties.
Black Pepper: When paired with turmeric, black pepper improves the body’s ability to absorb curcumin, the active compound in turmeric.
Apple Cider Vinegar: Adds a probiotic boost and aids in digestion.
How to Make Lemon Ginger Immunity Shots
Boil water and pour into a glass jar.
Add a thinly sliced lemon and honey then mix.
Next, add sliced and grated ginger.
Pour in the spices and add the cinnamon stick. Shake well. Once cooled slightly, refrigerate.
Some like to strain the chunks, but I like to let the ingredients marinate and then I spoon into a shot glass each morning.
How to Use
Take one shot (about 3 tbsp.) on an empty stomach in the morning for best results. If the flavor is too intense, dilute it with water or orange juice. You can also adjust the amount of black and cayenne pepper.
How to Store
Keep your immunity booster refrigerated in a glass jar and consume it within 1 week.
