You may already have most of the items you need to make this DIY Graduation Cap Money Holder. If not, make a quick visit to Dollar Tree to pick up these supplies below so you can make your card.
Supplies:
Card Stock or Poster Board (School Color or Black)
Scissors
Razor
Pencil
Metal Brad
Embroidery Floss (School Color or Yellow/Golden)
DIY Graduation Cap Money Holder
Directions:
Draw the outline of the graduation cap according to the outline below.
Cut out the cap.
Fold the left corner over to the right to form the graduation cap.
Cut off any extra paper that doesn’t line up properly.
Using a razor, cut a small slit in the middle of the cap’s top and insert brad.
Follow the instructions below to form the tassel.
Finish the tassel to look like this.
Wrap the tassel around the brad and push the brad in to secure.
On the inside, cut slits for a gift card or cash.
Add a message on the inside or just add the cash!
