September is my birthday month and it’s almost over! All month long I’ve been writing posts with lists of 28s. I first did 28 Things About Me – just to introduce myself a little bit. Then I did 28 Songs I Love because I’m obsessed with music and I wanted to share some of my favorite songs. This week I am sharing 28 of my favorite things, no elaboration, and no explanation.

It’s my birthday month so I’m doing a theme this month. This Sunday I turn 28 (September 23rd) and so I am bringing you lists of 28 things!
Last week I did a post – 28 Things About Me – just to introduce myself a little bit. The very first thing I said about myself in last week’s post was that music is incredibly important to me. It’s a major constant in my life – whether I’m going to see a band, looking for new music, or even just casually listening – it’s a big part of my life and a big part of me.

It’s my birthday month! Technically it’s the time of the Virgo, but come September 23rd, it’ll be Libra season!
I know it has been a while since I posted. I have been traveling to the Pacific North West for a series of Dave Matthews Band concerts and visiting friends. We’re currently hanging out in Washington and loving it! I promise to share more on that soon.

DIY Cars Theme Cake Pop Stand
We just celebrated my son’s 2nd birthday a few weeks ago, which was perfectly themed “Cars.” He’s a typical little boy who loves anything with 4 wheels! After spending months of planning his 1st birthday party, I decided to make the second-year celebration a little more low key. So, this time around I bought most of the decorations instead of making them. I was able to find a lot of the Cars themed party décor at Party City and Walmart (which you can check out below). The one party décor item I made was this DIY Cars Theme Cake Pop Stand. J loves cake pops from Starbucks (a horrible thing I blame myself for) so I decided on cake pops this year instead of a cake.
