It’s that time of the month again! My favorite time of the month, when my Ipsy Glam Bag comes! I get so excited when I see that pink envelope in the mailbox. (If you’re not familiar with Ipsy, check out my last review where I explain how it works.) This month the Glam bag was gray and gold with abstract dancing girls on it. I didn’t even notice at first, but the girls are actually spelling out Ipsy with their arms. Not my favorite Glam bag design but still cute!
ToGoSpa
Eyes by ToGoSpa in Green Tea EYES –This product is different than anything I’ve ever tried. It advertises as an energy drink for your face and is supposed to be good for dark eye circles. I personally don’t have dark circles, but I figured I’d try the product anyway. Left them on for 20 minutes and honestly did not feel or look different afterward. Maybe it takes a day or so to make a difference or maybe the product just isn’t for me. They did feel refreshing on my face, but that’s about it. This product retails for $12.50 for 3 sets of the under-eye pads.
Pixi by Petra
Mattelustre Lipstick in Rose Naturelle – This product is, by far, my favorite product I’ve ever received from Ipsy. When I first saw it in my Glam Bag I thought, “oh not another lipstick!” I have so many; I thought I didn’t need anymore. Boy, was I mistaken. I had been looking for a shade like this but lost steam when I couldn’t find what I was looking for. And then from the makeup Gods, I was given this beautiful shade that was just matte enough but also didn’t dry out my lips. The formula isn’t perfect and it doesn’t last all day, but for me, it works. For the past 2 weeks, it’s the only lipstick I’ve been wearing. I’m in love!
This product retails for $12. I would definitely buy it for the full size and highly recommend it.

BelláPierre Cosmetics
Mineral Blush in Autumn Glow – This is another really great product. I wasn’t expecting to love it as much as I do because blushes are usually hit or miss for me. This one was definitely a hit. The shade is perfect for fall. It most definitely lives up to its name. I’d also never tried a mineral blush before so I was pleasantly surprised. This product retails for $45.

Be A Bombshell Cosmetics
Nail Polish in Holy Fuchsia or Va Voom – Another nail polish this month! That’s always exciting. Especially when it’s a color that I always enjoy – Holy Fuchsia. I wore this color for a whole week before I decided to change it. That’s probably a record for me. The shade is perfect for fall and the formula is great too. I probably wouldn’t buy this brand because the average bottle retails for $6.00 and I am not a fan of expensive nail polishes. (I just change my mind too much to spend that much.) But definitely a great product.
tarte cosmetics
tarteist™ lash paint mascara – I’ve never been super picky about mascaras. I just know what I like and usually stick to it. Despite being a well-known brand (and extra points for not testing on animals) this product isn’t that special. The way the bottle opens and the brush comes out is a little strange and the brush is too big. The formula isn’t terrible, just average. It ended up in my under-eye crease less than half-way through the workday. Overall, I wasn’t impressed and this is a product I could do without. This product retails for $23.00 and I wouldn’t buy it.
As far as the products go, I would give this bag a 3 out of 5. But for only $10 for products that normally retail a total of $98.00, how can you beat that? Just another reason why I love this subscription service.
