My son and I made this slime while on our last beach vacation and it was so much fun gathering sand from the beach. We even brought some sand home and made it again. This is a great way to keep the kids entertained while also providing a fun and educational experience.
Easy DIY Beach Sand Slime
What You Need
– 1/2 cup of sifted beach sand
– 4 oz. of white school glue
– 1 teaspoon of saline solution
– 1/4 tsp. baking soda
– Food coloring (optional)
Instructions:
In a large bowl, add the glue and then mix in baking soda.
Add sand, a little bit at a time, and mix until the sand is fully mixed in. If you want to add color, mix in a few drops of food coloring at this stage.
Mix in the saline solution. You may need to add a few extra drops to get the slime consistency. Knead the slime for a few minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
Store the slime in an airtight container.
That’s it! Your DIY Beach Sand Slime is now ready to enjoy. It’s a great sensory activity that’s fun to make while on a beach vacation. It’s also perfect for adults to use a stress reliever! Have fun!
