10-15 drops of Lavender essential oil
Minty Soak
2 Cups Epsom salt
1 Cup Sea salt
1 Cup Baking soda
10-15 drops of spearmint essential oil
1 Tbsp. carrier oil like almond or jojoba
**These recipes are for a standard-size tub. Double the recipe for extra-large tubs.
Epsom salt’s structure appears similar to table salt, but its chemical base structures are not similar. Epsom salt has a bitter taste and isn’t used for cooking. The name Epsom comes from the town of Epsom in England where the salt was first discovered. Epsom salts are naturally occurring and can’t be recreated in a lab. They come from evaporating water from lakes that contain a high amount of magnesium sulfate.
