If I had to rate my January Ipsy bag, it would be a 9 out of 10! While I wasn’t expecting to love every product, I was pleasantly surprised that I did, for the most part.

If I had to rate my January Ipsy bag, it would be a 9 out of 10! While I wasn’t expecting to love every product, I was pleasantly surprised that I did, for the most part.
Here’s what I thought of this month’s Ipsy bag:
This week I’m doing a simple eyeshadow tutorial on a look that I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on. I don’t fancy myself as a beauty guru but I have learned a lot from them. I’ve learned to take chances and experiment with my eye makeup.
I’m using the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon eye pallet for this look. It’s perfect for a night out with friends or even Date night.
e.l.f. stands for Eyes Lips and Face. This brand is one of my all-time favorite makeup brands because it’s vegan (mostly), doesn’t test on animals, cheap, and is great quality. Usually, that’s a very hard combination to find.
I’ve been using e.l.f. products for years and they just keep getting better in quality and selection. They’re always coming out with something new and expanding their collections. Below I’ve listed my top 5 favorite e.l.f. products, some that I’ve been using for years and others only more recently.
For the last couple of Ipsy Reviews, I’ve contemplated canceling my subscription in hopes of trying something new. Well, after some research I realized that Ipsy is one of the best make-up boxes out there. It’s cheap, only $10 a month and no extra shipping cost; you get five personalized items, one of which is full size. You also receive cute bags every month. So, I don’t think I’ll be canceling anytime soon.
That being said, December’s Ipsy Bag was super cute. They were going for a bag that can also be a clutch, with a wristlet strap – perfect for the holiday season. The products themselves weren’t particularly exciting but there were two definite winners.
My November Ipsy Glam Bag review is here! Before we get into that, I want to remind everyone that it is the holiday season and Ipsy makes a great gift! I pay a monthly subscription fee of $10 every month, but you could pay an annual subscription fee of $120 and give a year’s worth of Ipsy as a gift! You just have to remember to cancel it before it renews on your credit card the following year. If you’re not familiar with exactly what Ipsy is, you can read my August review explaining all about it. Otherwise, you probably already know and that’s why you’re here. So let’s get started.
October’s Ipsy glam bag was so cute this month. The print on the bag was themed for Halloween! It was printed with candy corn, witches, and bats. It was so adorable I actually took out the bag I’d been keeping in my purse and exchanged it for this one.
When I saw the preview for my bag a few days before I received it, I thought it was going to be a home run. I thought I would love every product. But that just goes to show that you never know something until you try it. (Same philosophy goes for shopping – you never know until you try something on!)
It’s that time of the month again! My favorite time of the month, when my Ipsy Glam Bag comes! I get so excited when I see that pink envelope in the mailbox. (If you’re not familiar with Ipsy, check out my last review where I explain how it works.) This month the Glam bag was gray and gold with abstract dancing girls on it. I didn’t even notice at first, but the girls are actually spelling out Ipsy with their arms. Not my favorite Glam bag design but still cute!
Ipsy is a monthly subscription service for makeup. It’s only $10 a month. There are a few other similar subscription boxes but I tried this one and so far I love it! You get 6 products, including the “glam” bag, 4 sample size products, and 1 full-size product. It could be anything ranging from makeup, hair, and skin products. It is all based on a profile you set up for yourself. You choose which brands and products you’re interested in. Usually, everyone’s product selection is a little different.
